This installation copes with periodic heavy loads at a remote vandal prone site beside the Sturt Highway on the Hay plains. One of a number we have installed for RMS.
It has two disabled cubicles serviced by a Clivus Multrum CM40 composting unit with a capacity of 40,000 uses per year - approx. 110 uses per day. A solar panel mounted on a mast powers the exhaust fan and a small bilge pump which lifts the excess fluids from a sump to a small absorption trench - a requirement dictated by the flat terrain. A rainwater tank mounted on the building supplies a handbasin. |
